Art Affairs presents

“Harvest – Shoot – Eat”

featuring Fine Art Photographer Frank van Driel

Thursday, 14 April 2016   |  7:30 pm - 9:30 pm  |  Consul General’s residence, The Peak

A new twist on the Dutch Old Masters of the Seventeenth Century. Frank van Driel rediscovers the world and delivers a different perspective on food, life, and society. Meticulously researching both historical and contemporary values, van Driel uses a 21st century medium to capture his subject using only natural daylight. By personally hunting and gathering his objects, he is able to convey the depth and complexity of the circle of life.

Art Affairs represents emerging artists as well as those already established in their field. Whether through painting, photography, sculpture or mixed media, Art Affairs promotes bold work of high artistic quality.

During the presentation, details of highlighted works by van Driel will be presented in an engaging manner, giving the audience an insight to the stories behind the Dutch artist and his artworks. Art Affairs are proud to be the first to present van Driel’s works in Asia.
