Host by the Macau Academy of Cinematic Arts at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the International Film Appreciation Program is an annual film screening program aim to enrich the students’ university experience and to enhance their appreciation for foreign media culture by offering free foreign film screenings on campus.
About the film: "Those Were the Days"
The movie ‘Those were the days takes place in 1974. It picks up where the characters in the TV series left off when the series stopped.
The Dutch national football team has just lost the heroic World Championship final against archrival West Germany. The country is in mourning and Jaap Kooiman is so disappointed that he does something outrageous. This puts his relationship with his wife Nel under a lot of stress. When Nel falls for the charms of her yoga instructor, Simon Stokvis has to go to extremes to save the day. All the ingredients are present for a funny, thrilling as well as touching family movie.
