About the event
Dutch oysters are one of Zeeland’s best kept secrets. Cultivated on the shores of Zeeland, Dutch oysters are characterised by their briny and peppery flavour and their round or oval-shaped shells. Thanks to the area’s clean water and the relatively small production scale, these oysters epitomise the healthy, safe, and sustainable seafood and agri-food exports for which the Netherlands is known in the world.
Harvested from Osetra sturgeons, Dutch caviar has a mild, slightly salty and creamy taste that lingers in the mouth. The high quality of Dutch caviar makes it a true contender in the culinary world, as appreciated by gourmands around the world.
Part dégustation and part workshop, learn about and appreciate these two delicacies from the Netherlands in a master class with Blend brothers, Hendrik and Kamiel Buysse, and Martin Rijk from NaturalHolland, purveyor of Dutch seafood in Hong Kong.
