About the event

Spend a Sunday afternoon with Dutch Days in Hong Kong for some family fun!
When you think of Holland, you probably think of the clogs, klompen, tulips and windmills. Enjoy an afternoon of workshops with your family. All ages are welcome.

Paint your own set of wooden clogs keychain. Learn from Catherine Au, instructor of Dutch Flower Arrangements, on how to arrange a Dutch flower piece and taste a bit of Holland with the chefs of Orange Tree restaurant and learn to make poffertjes pancakes. Hear the accordion play of Vincent van Amsterdam in the afternoon and get acquainted with all things Dutch!

Poffertjes with Orange Tree Restaurant

Poffertjes are traditional mini-pancakes made of buckwheat flour, served with a dollop of butter and powdered sugar. The team from Orange Tree Restaurant will teach children to make these fluffy little poffertjes. After attending this class, our newly minted junior chefs will be able to make their own poffertjes and treat their parents, family, and friends to this tasty Dutch snack.
